What does it cost to take part?

No fixed costs in a LEG – just 2 Rappen per kWh on electricity sold locally.

As a consumer, there is no fee for taking part in a LEG. As a producer, you pay no fixed costs either, only a billing fee of 2 Rappen per kWh on the electricity you sell within the energy community. This is deducted directly from your credit note.

There is no surcharge on electricity you sell to or buy from the grid operator.

Different terms apply to billing in a ZEV or vZEV. There, a monthly fee per meter may be charged, and depending on the project there may also be a one-off setup fee and further project costs. You will find the details in the article on the costs for ZEV and vZEV.
