There are no fixed fees for taking part in a LEG. The billing service in a ZEV or vZEV works differently, because UpGrid handles the billing for every party in the building or on the site and replaces the invoice you would otherwise receive from the grid operator.
Monthly billing fee
Depending on the project, we charge a monthly fee per meter. Whether a fee applies, and how much it is, depends on the grid area, the meter setup and the agreement with the property owner. Where a fee is charged, it is typically between CHF 3.50 and CHF 9.00 per meter per month. Depending on the model you choose, ZEV or vZEV, there may also be adjustments to the monthly base fee or additional costs for purchasing meters.
Commissioning and project costs
Setting up the system involves a one-off commissioning fee per meter, again depending on the project. This is usually around CHF 85, with a discount for larger numbers of meters. Additional services may be charged on top, for example legal clarification, planning or electricity procurement. Procurement mainly concerns companies that buy their electricity on the market.
The final figure always depends on the specific project. Send us your location, your grid operator and the number of meters at [email protected], and we will review the setup and put together a quote for you.
